Elisa, whom you can see in the video below, has an incredible skill for crocheting bangs. She explains that she learned this technique from her mother, who in turn learned from her own mother, and so on. In this way, the handicraft tradition is handed down from generation to generation.

Nicaragua is a Central American country located between Honduras to the north and Costa Rica to the south. It is bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
